That little girl that comes up to me today is going to have a better opportunity, a greater chance … the ability to take it farther than I have because that’s kind of how you hope society evolves as you get older. The generation behind you has a chance to do even more.”
On October 21, 2019, Babson College hosted Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Kara Lawson as part of Women’s Entrepreneurship Week. Coach Lawson spoke about her experience as a WNBA Player, Olympic Champion, ESPN Broadcaster, and as an NBA Coach. She also shared her perspective on leadership, overcoming challenges, and the importance of learning from other Coaches.
